Are you a dog parent? I have always had dogs in my life, but I wasn't always a dog parent. Now, however, I am.
Do you know what the difference is? To me, the difference is all in your frame of mind. If you have dogs and provide for their basic needs, you are a dog owner. If, however, you have come to appreciate that your dog is a unique being, one who has not only physical but mental, emotional, and spiritual needs, then you might be a dog parent.
I am far from an expert in most things dog. I have learned some stuff and have a little store of knowledge and experience that I'm always adding to. Mostly, I am just doing my best to solve the problems my dogs end up with in hopes of giving them the best life I can.
Are you dog parent? If so, I'd love for you to read my posts so that we can have discussions. Who knows? Maybe we can both learn ways to give our dogs a better life. I look forward to hearing from you.
I love giving dogs what they need. Dogs are such special, unique beings. As much as dog clothes can help them be warmer, cooler, or just plain better, I wanted to do something more. Dogs are more than just their clothes.
I decided to write a book intended to give dogs a better life; physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I wrote "Know Your Dog; How to Give Your Dog Their Best Life by Understanding Them, Identifying Small Issues Before They Get to Be Big Problems, and Using All the Tools in Your Toolbox" to share some of my thoughts and experiences in the hopes that we as dog parents can give our dogs all that they deserve.
